Took the boy, the Mini and ran over to Gwinnett Place Mall where they have redone a portion to reflect 1985 suburbia. Starcourt Mall from Hawkins, Indiana looks about the way I remember 1985 looking when I was 11. They had a pristine 1985 Chrysler K car convertible in there as well, but I couldn’t get a good pic of it
Radio Shack hi-fi for your sci-fi.

That’s cool, glad the Mall is getting some use. Actually, it would make sense for someone to buy it and turn it into a film studio.

Looks like I’ve got something to do next time I travel to Atlanta.

Our malls in Illinois still have Sbarros. And KB Toys is making a comeback in this area now that Toys R Us went under

I have to say, Sbarro is probably the 2nd or 3rd highest quality pizza of the low quality pizzas.

I know all pizza is good, but they sure do make a shit slice of pizza.

I’m guessing this is driving more foot traffic in the mall than they have seen in a while. We weren’t the only ones there checking it out. I’ve heard they have security in there sometimes, but really, the smart thing would be to celebrate its use.
They used it in I, Tonya as well. Kind of a fun train wreck of a movie.

And overpriced, at that. They’re the FYE of pizza places.
